Shipping Policy – 2-Day Shipping (Cottage Bakery)

Shipping Availability

We offer 2-Day Shipping on select bakery items that are approved for shipping under California Cottage Food regulations. Items are baked fresh and packaged to maintain quality during transit.

Not all products are eligible for shipping. Items that require refrigeration or are highly perishable may be available for local pickup or delivery only.

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days before shipping. Processing time does not include carrier transit time.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day.

Shipping Method

All eligible orders are shipped using a 2-Day shipping service through a reputable carrier.

Once an order has shipped:

  • A tracking number will be provided

  • Transit time is estimated and not guaranteed

  • Responsibility for the package transfers to the carrier

Food Safety & Quality Disclaimer

Our baked goods are carefully packaged; however, once an order leaves our facility, we cannot control:

  • Carrier handling

  • Delivery delays

  • Temperature conditions during transit

For food safety reasons:

  • Shipped bakery items are final sale

  • We do not accept returns or exchanges on shipped food items

Delivery Issues

If your order arrives damaged or unsafe due to shipping, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Photos of the packaging and product upon arrival

  • A description of the issue

If approved, we may offer:

  • A replacement (if available)

  • Store credit

  • A refund, at our discretion

Incorrect Address or Delivery Delays

We are not responsible for:

  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer

  • Failed deliveries due to customer unavailability

  • Delays caused by the shipping carrier or extreme weather

Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate shipping information

  • Promptly retrieving packages upon delivery

  • Proper storage of baked goods after delivery
